Scam. The person just called me and said she is from fido and want my business back. But unfortunately, by the time she called me. I am already back to Fido for more than 1 month. I told her If the she is from Fido, you should know this number is Fido. She said she would check on the system. I hanged up and she just keep calling back. Blocked this number already.

Called before 9 am claimed to be Walmart CC asked for my husband, said he wasn't available and then they proceeded to ask me to confirm HIS information which was very suspicious to me.

Caller knew my first name saying they were investment advisor

This Emily lady has been trying to call me for a couple years. The number has changed once or twice but its always Emily calling. Asked to be taken off whatever list they have and even threatened to get authorities involved but seeing as she called me again, TODAY... That obviously has not happened...

Didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message in my voicemail.

They know your name and your postal code from somewhere. If you try to refer to Scotia life website they tell you that you that they can do it over the phone. Do not give them anything. They call centre sounds very fake and their people sound are very pushy. Rule of thumb is make sure they send an email out, or have them verify with you that they are legit. Banks will not call you; they will email send and send letters before calling you.

Persistently calls. Never leaves a message.
